Great Ghosts! is a video slot developed by Pragmatic Play, scheduled for release on 23 April 2026. The game takes place inside an old haunted mansion, where three friendly spirits serve as the central characters and mechanics.

At the end of a spin, if the respin feature activates, one, two, or all three modifiers may be applied randomly based on which scatters were collected. If four or more scatters of any colour land at once, the respin is guaranteed.

During the respin, normal symbols disappear and only blanks and Money symbols remain on the reels. The round starts with a 5×4 grid and three respins. Every time a Money symbol lands, it sticks in place and the respin counter resets to three. The round ends when no more respins remain.

As Money symbols accumulate, the grid expands:

• 8 symbols → 5th row unlocked
• 12 symbols → 6th row unlocked
• 16 symbols → 7th row unlocked
• 20 symbols → 8th row unlocked (maximum 5×8 grid)

Money symbols carry values ranging from 0.6x to 1,250x. At the end of the round, all values on screen are added together and paid out.

Upgrade Modifier (Blue Scatter)

When the Upgrade modifier is active, randomly placed 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 frames appear on the grid. Any Money symbol that lands within one of these frames receives an upgraded value. Possible upgraded values range from 0.3x up to 1,250x.

Mystery Modifier (Pink Scatter)

When the Mystery modifier is active, pink Money symbols can land during the respin round. After the first respin, a single value is assigned to all pink Money symbols on the grid, and that value applies for the rest of the round. Pink Money symbol values can reach up to 5,750x.

Extra Modifier (Green Scatter)

When the Extra modifier is active, additional Money symbols are randomly added to the grid during the respin round. These carry random values and increase the number of symbols collected, helping expand the grid and boost the total payout.

Ante Bet

The Ante Bet option adjusts the bet multiplier to change how frequently the respin feature triggers:

All symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. The three character portraits are the premium symbols, while card royals (A, K, Q, J, 10, 9) make up the lower-value tier.

The Wild symbol substitutes for all standard symbols but does not replace the blue, green, or pink scatter symbols.

The Wild also carries its own payout, making it the highest-paying symbol in the base game at 50x for a five-of-a-kind combination.

Wins in the base game are formed by landing three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right across any of the 50 paylines. Only the highest win per line is paid.

The primary route to larger payouts runs through the Ghost Respin. During this feature, sticky Money symbols accumulate on the expanded grid, and their values are summed at the end of the round. The more symbols that land, the more rows unlock and the higher the combined total can reach – up to the 40,000x cap.
