Spark of Creation

Spark of Creation is a slot developed by ELK Studios, released on June 2, 2026. It uses the studio's CollectR™ mechanic — a system where elemental creatures roam a 6×7 grid, collecting symbols and triggering abilities as they go.

The game is built around four elements: Air, Nature, Fire, and Water. Each is represented by a creature with its own ability. When a mysterious fifth element, the Spark, appears, it accelerates creature evolution and opens up a cascade of potential features.

What sets Spark of Creation apart is its Evolution Meter. As creatures collect symbols, the meter fills and upgrades them up to Level 3, unlocking stronger versions of their abilities. Spark of Creation is set in a dense, ancient forest bathed in deep greens and soft bioluminescent light. The background features towering trees and glowing flora, giving the game a calm but otherworldly atmosphere.

The four elemental creatures — Fire, Water, Nature, and Air — are designed as small, expressive characters. Each has a distinct look that reflects its element: the Fire creature glows orange with flame-like markings, the Water creature has a soft blue translucent form, the Nature creature is plant-like and green, and the Air creature appears as a purple cloud with swirling energy.

Payout symbols are colorful elemental gems in red, blue, purple, and green. Feature symbols include the Spark orb, a glowing Firefly jar, a rainbow Mushroom, and a dark spiraling Black Hole.

Animations are smooth and reactive. Creatures visibly move across the grid to collect symbols, and evolving through levels triggers visual upgrades to each character. The soundtrack is atmospheric and fits the elemental theme without being distracting.

Spark of Creation runs on a 6×7 grid using the CollectR™ mechanic. There are no traditional paylines — instead, the four elemental creatures travel across the grid collecting symbols that match their color.

To start:

• Set your bet using the controls at the bottom of the screen (€0.20–€100)
• Press Spin to drop a new set of symbols onto the grid
• Creatures move and collect matching symbols, which are then removed and replaced by falling symbols from above

Each creature collects symbols of its own color. When a collection is made, a payout is awarded for that symbol type. The process repeats in a cascade-style sequence until no more collections can be made.

The paytable, settings, and game rules are accessible from the menu icon in the top corner. The X-iter™ button provides access to five alternative buy-in modes for players who want to start with enhanced conditions.

Evolution Meter

A vertical meter on the left side of the grid tracks symbol collection progress. When the meter is full, one pending creature evolve feature is added. This triggers a Creature Evolve Feature, which upgrades a selected creature to a higher level — up to a maximum of Level 3. At higher levels, creature abilities become more powerful.

The evolution meter progress is persistent during the Bonus Game.

Creature Abilities

Each creature has a unique ability that activates once it has been upgraded via the Evolution Meter.

• Nature Creature: Increases multipliers on the symbol grid in a 3×3 area surrounding itself. At higher creature levels, the multiplier is increased by more steps.
• Water Creature: Adds feature symbols to the game grid. At higher creature levels, more feature symbols are added.
• Air Creature: Chooses one creature and creates a path of payout symbols matching its color from its position. At higher creature levels, a longer path is created.
• Fire Creature: Removes another creature and the payout symbols of its color. At higher creature levels, more creatures and symbols are removed.

Multiplier Bubbles

The first time a symbol is collected on any position, a multiplier bubble is created at that position. Every subsequent collection on that same position increases the multiplier value of the bubble. Multipliers stack over time and apply to winnings from that position.

Multiplier Strike

The Multiplier Strike feature increases multipliers across the symbol grid before a symbol drop occurs. It can be triggered before any regular symbol drop or bonus drop, giving an immediate boost to all active multipliers on the grid.

Feature Symbols

Four special symbols appear on the grid and trigger specific effects when collected by a creature:

• Spark: Increases the Evolution Meter's progression.
• Firefly: Puts the collecting creature's ability into a pending state.
• Transform (Mushroom): Changes a cluster of payout symbols into its color. It may also change a random number of payout symbols into feature symbols.
• Black Hole: Absorbs all symbols and creatures on the grid and returns them to random positions.

Bonus Game

Three Bonus symbols collected by the creatures trigger the Bonus Game. If one of those three symbols is a Super Bonus symbol, the Super Bonus Game is triggered instead.

During the Bonus Game, all progress carried over from the base game — including the evolution meter level, creature levels, multiplier bubbles, and their values — remains active.

Bonus Buy Option (X-iter™): Yes. X-iter™ offers five modes:

• 2.5x bet — more than 4x the chance to trigger the Bonus
• 5x bet — Mega Hunt mode
• 25x bet — direct Bonus Game entry
• 100x bet — direct Bonus Game with enhanced setup
• 250x bet — direct Super Bonus Game entry

Wins are generated when creatures collect matching payout symbols from the grid. The amount paid depends on the symbol type and the number collected. All values below are based on a €1.00 stake.

All four payout symbols share the same base value of 0.05x per collect at €1.00 stake. Wins scale with multiplier bubbles and creature abilities applied to the grid.

Wild Symbol: A Wild symbol (W) can appear on the grid and substitutes for payout symbols to assist creature collection.

Bonus Symbol: The Bonus (B) symbol is collected by creatures and counts toward triggering the Bonus Game. A Super Bonus variant (marked with a 5) triggers the Super Bonus Game when included in a set of three collected Bonus symbols.

Winning in Spark of Creation is driven by the CollectR™ mechanic rather than traditional paylines. Creatures collect matching symbols, and each collected symbol pays out at the symbol's listed value, multiplied by any active multiplier bubbles on that position.

There are no direct sequels or variants of Spark of Creation at this time. However, players familiar with ELK Studios' CollectR™ series may recognize similarities in the core mechanic from other titles in the lineup. Huff N' Puff CollectR (2026) uses the same creature-collection system on a different theme. Pirots and its sequels also use the CollectR™ mechanic and may appeal to players who enjoy the movement-based collection format.

Spark of Creation is a technically ambitious slot that layers multiple systems — evolving creatures, growing multipliers, feature symbols, and a persistent bonus — into a cohesive package.
